"Be not so foolish as to cling to what was, rather than embrace what can be."
~Dean Koontz

The quality of our lives depends on how we choose to respond to the situations, not of our making, that are forced upon us.
We are in a time when people seem polarized like magnets. Either you are completely attracted or completely repelled by the issues we face. There is no safe place for conversation with people who have differing views anymore.
The fringes of our society, the vast minority, are consuming all the media attention with their unrealistic, and often erroneous, positions on people, places, and things they do not understand.
Their noise makes it difficult for the majority to come to a consensus and move forward together.
While change is inevitable, how we change should remain the same. The book The Four Agreements can help us:
Be impeccable with your word
Do not take anything personally
Do not make assumptions
Always do your best
Love on purpose, with intention, and be kind. Your life will be happier.
